Like the steel we fabricate, our involvement contributes to a strong structure — helping strengthen the community by supporting the causes that are close to our hearts.
Strong women
We proudly sponsor five women from the East Fremantle Sharks Football Club, as well as team sponsorship of the Forrestdale Falcons Junior Girls team. Our unwavering belief in the power of sport to support mental and physical wellbeing — as well as the joy and camaraderie it brings to women — make this one of our favourite causes to get behind.
Strong men
Being in an industry dominated by blokes, the importance of men’s mental health is top of mind for everyone at Drillmech. For so long, social stigma meant that men suffered in silence — and that hurts everyone.
We’re committed to encouraging meaningful conversations about mental health with team members and the community. That’s why we support Beyond Blue and their initiatives like RUOK? Day.
Our team loves getting amongst it during Movember each year, and we love that our (sometimes patchy) efforts support men’s cancers and suicide prevention.
Strong communities
Supporting mental and physical health is incredibly important to Drillmech. In 2019 our team members rode 200km to raise funds for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. Working together for a common goal made our guys feel great, and supporting medical research in WA is good for the whole community.
